1 – Houses are more affordable than ever. 2 – Interest Rates are at 45 year lows and dropping. 3 – The economy is healthy. GDP (Gross Domestic Product) grew at a very healthy 3.9% in the third quarter from strong consumer spending, exports, business investment, government and inventories all growing.

If rates are still dropping a little, why get in? You have to jump in the game at a low swing. You will never “time the market” to be at the lowest of the low, you have to jump in and ride the wave up. If the rates do go significantly lower, which I can’t imagine, you can always refi. I come from the 1980s school of real estate – when I started we had 16%-21% mortgages and people were buying – in fact I made a boatload on a property paying 16% on a mortgage. So interest rates in the single digits are great to me.
