This home comped at $154,000 by the square foot - this young couple got this sparkling house for $105,000. Is that a deal? - in this neighborhood? It is a steal!

Is that instant equity of somewhere between $30,000 to $45,000? You bet.

It is the smart person who buys at the bottom of the market - now is the time to buy - Click Here for some great deals.

I scratch my head - all the real estate agents I talk to are complaining - we aren’t complaining, we are creating deals that work for our properties. Finding what the buyer wants is the key to success.

Many of you all know Ben and Barbara Sochacki and their son Cas. They are dear friends of ours. When Cindy came here for a site visit to see if she liked the area, I immediately took her to meet Barbara – the Martha Stewart of the Bluegrass. I knew Cindy would fall in love with Barbara - she would make her feel great about the area and the lifestyle here - the rest of my job was easy.

If you know Barbara and Ben, you are truly blessed.

This from Ben this morning - I wanted to share with everyone:

Hello there:
Next time you are in a book store ask to see a copy of “Shear Spirit”. About ten farms across America that raise sheep for wool.
Old Mill Farm is featured in chapter 10. The farm was approached by the writers back in ‘06 as a possible candidate.
Beautifully done. We are most humbled to be a part of this book.

Ben

400 Mile Sale Rt 68 is the “Route 66″ of Kentucky - tons of fun!

Four days, 400 Mile Sale and hundreds of antiques, yard sales, craft booths, and special events await you! Travel Hwy 68-80 through Kentucky for four great days of shopping, eating and just being entertained. Special events planned all along the route.

Historic Highway 68 was once a major thoroughfare across Kentucky. But due to bypasses, interstates and parkways, many people have forgotten how much these communities have to offer. We want to change this. Twenty-five counties and more than 60 communities have come together and are participating in a 400 Mile 4-day sale along this historic route! We see it as a huge opportunity for businesses and communities to entice visitors to once again stop by and rediscover the many hidden treasures each area has to offer.

The 400 Mile “Antiques, Collectibles and Stuff” four-day sale across Kentucky June 5-8 goes from east to west along historic highway 68 from Paducah to Old Washington and back again! Not only are there over 400 antique shops along this route, there will be hundreds of dealers and booths set up all along the way with everything you can imagine (and even things you can’t). Visit nearly 60 historic communities, enjoying Kentucky cuisine, unique dining experiences and southern hospitality at every stop. Come taste our grits, cornbread, hot browns, biscuits and ham, sweet ice tea, and hot apple pies as you “shop til you drop”.

Visit our website at 400Mile.com or call (270)781-6858 if you are interested in setting up a booth, hosting a yard sale or want to order a brochure which includes a map of the route. The 400Mile.com website features unique dining opportunities and special events taking place all four days, a list of B&B’s and other lodging, and “hot spots” where you will find lots and lots of sales you don’t want to miss!

You can easily tell when it is spring in Kentucky. In addition to the beautiful flowers and trees blooming, the level of equine activity increases significantly. In Lexington, Keeneland’s Spring Sales and Race Meet just ended, as did the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event at the Kentucky Horse Park. The people in Louisville, and all across the state, are busy preparing for the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby.

Kentucky Horse Farm for sale in the Lexington Bluegrass area - Harrodsburg, KY

This Spring has been exceptionally exciting for us at the World Games 2010 Foundation. http://www.feigames2010.org/ Earlier today we announced our network broadcasting partner for the Games - NBC Sports. NBC has a long history of covering equine events and is a perfect fit for the Games. In fact, be sure to watch the NBC broadcast of this year’s Kentucky Derby on Saturday, followed by the broadcast of Rolex highlights on Sunday afternoon.

Another program we launched just a few weeks ago is for our official volunteer registration. It has been fascinating to see the widespread enthusiasm from both Kentuckians and people from all 50 states and 48 countries. To date, we have more than 5500 registered to volunteer in some capacity for the Games. We wanted to share with you what the Games mean to so many folks, so we are including some quotes that we received from volunteers in this newsletter. http://www.feigames2010.org/

We thank everyone for your continued support of the Games and of our efforts to stage the best world championships ever in 2010. If you want to volunteer - I Want To Volunteer for the 2010 Equestrian Games
