I met this guy at the Bourbon Festival. Matt is a chef who decided to make a change and open up shop at Bourbon Barrel Foods. And we are glad to share his info with our members. He has a few killer recipes on his site and I’d like to share one of them here.
Bourbon Barrel Worcestershire Cheddar Cheese Ball – for a video presentation on how to make this simple appetizer, click on the photo.
8oz Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup shredded White Cheddar
1 cup shredded Extra Sharp Cheddar
1 cup shredded Pepper Jack or Havarti Cheese
¼ tsp Onion Powder
¼ tsp Garlic Powder
2 Tablespoons Bourbon Barrel Worcestershire Sauce
Enough Smoked Paprika or Smoked Black Pepper to cover cheese balls
Mix all ingredients in large bowl.
Refrigerate for about an hour.
Form mixture into ball and roll in smoked paprika or smoked pepper.
