We are doing an amazing renovation on this home.  Straight as an arrow and as solid as the hand-layed rock foundation underneath it, This home is truly a work of art for the antiques lover.  click here to go to -

These antebellum stone walls are a quickly becoming extinct.  These are beautifully intact.

All brick, a new metal roof, hardwood floors, 4 fireplaces, a new commercial kitchen going in right now (Sept 18th), hand-built antebellum stone walls, an old barn, root cellars, new Central Heat and Air, New Bathroom, New Kitchen, new 200 amp electric service and a pond – all on 14 acres with road frontage on 2 roads – Mundy's Landing and Harvey Pike.

We think the Bluegrass Region is one of the prettiest places on earth

Just 3 questions. Why are you installing a commercial kitchen for this property? Also will there still be a place for a claw-foot bathtub? Also, when do you anticate the renovation being completed?

  • Brad Simmons

Sure. In a higher-end home like this, a commercial-grade kitchen we felt is appropriate and being an epicure myself, we love our commercial-grade kitchen for entertaining friends and family.

There actually is room for a claw-footed tub in the 2nd bathroom that hasn’t been completed yet. The upstairs is part of the Phase 3 renovation not yet in the “concrete” plans.

We anticipate the renovations to be completed – Phase 2, which is Kit, Bath, CHA, floors, etc – move right in condition – by Nov 1.

Thanks for the comments – we will keep all our members in touch with the progress.
